At the end of 1950 during a period of economic growth a group of farmers founded a social cooperative in Orta Nova, in the province of Foggia, with the aim to make good local wine. The fields in which the vineyards rise are located in the middle of the “Tavoliere delle Puglie”, the ideal climate of this land leads to a fruit of great value.
In 2013, following a transformation process, Vignaioli Pugliesi was born as we know it today. Twenty-six members, moved by a passion for wine and innovation, carried out important structural interventions to modernize the entire production plant and redevelop the structure. From the old grape collection tanks, a modern glass structure was built to be used as a restaurant, of which on the lower floor – precisely the tanks of the past – wines rest in the barrels.
The Vignaioli continue on the path of tradition, in the direction of the future.
